Customer Service Representative

Position Summary:
The Resource Broker position is a field position traveling throughout a specific neighborhood (s) to provide counseling and recommendations after thorough review of the client’s budget. Recommendations will be outlined in the client action plan, and may include application for mortgage loan products, enrollment in a Debt Management Plan (DMP), and referral to legal assistance. Counseling services will take place in various locations at the convenience of the client.
Qualifications:

Counseling services will take place in various locations at the convenience of the client.
Essential Functions:
- Have specialist knowledge of a full range of benign products and services for homeowners.
- Provide counseling services in locations convenient for the client such as their home, workplace, community center or place of worship.
- Make it as convenient as possible for the client to understand their situation with all available remedies, and to implement those remedies with as few extra steps and referrals as possible.
- Provide personal counseling, financial needs assessment, recommendations of appropriate loans and grants, and assistance with applications.
- Continue as an advocate for the client through the lending and grant-awarding process and a resource for the client after the loan/grant have been obtained to help them through difficulties that may arise later.
- Connect the client with additional financial programs and services offered by CCCSDV or other appropriate resources in order to move the client into financial stability.
- Identify homeowners who are already in foreclosure and in need of legal assistance, connect them with Community Legal Services and continue to follow client to resolution.
- Work a flexible schedule and non-traditional working hours to meet client and business needs.
- Compose correspondence and presentations with proper spelling, grammar and articulation.
- Communicate accurately and clearly to internal employees and external partners
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance
Travel
Position is a field based position without a home base office. Travel will be to and from a specific (assigned) Philadelphia neighborhood (s) is required as well as surrounding counties to attend housing meetings and functions.

The Education Program Specialist is responsible for assisting with the development of comprehensive strategic plan to manage and grow CCCSDV education programs.

- The ability to initiate, maintain and follow-through with relationships is key to this position.

Program Coordination
- Assist with the development of an overall strategic plan to reach internal program goals within the key areas of program participation, advertising campaigns, and community partnerships

- Perform all PC functions associated with the counseling session and DMP

Position Summary:
This position is responsible for handling telephone inquiries from clients and creditors with prompt and courteous service, explaining our wide-ranging services to new callers, scheduling appointments as well as performing associated varied data entry and clerical functions related to the maintenance of client accounts. The Customer service representative also handles all internal and external research and problem inquiries, solving and following through to resolution. This position is responsible for the processing and subsequent proper disbursement of payments to creditors.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Previous employment experience performing similar tasks. Knowledge of consumer credit and/or financial services is a plus, but not required. Excellent problem-solving skills. A strong work ethic. Ability to multi task in a fast paced environment. Organized with attention to detail. Friendly phone voice. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency and ability to navigate in Microsoft Windows and knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office software.
