First Time Homeownership

CCCSDV can assist you as you prepare for first-time homeownership. We are offering a series of regularly scheduled programs for first-time homeowners in 2008. Our educators will walk you through each step of the home buying process from credit preparation, to loan documentation and what to expect at closing.

* Learn about available down payment assistance grants and reduced interest mortgage payments.

* Providers of mortgage programs sand assistance programs are not affiliated witty our controlled by CCCDV. Eligibility of for those programs and grants is based on the requirements of these providers.

Who is Eligible to Participate?

If you answer yes to ANY of the following questions, you are NOT eligible for these sessions:

  • Are you a current CCCSDV client or have you received any services from CCCSDV in the last 12 months?
  • Are you a current homeowner?
  • Do you have an agreement to purchase a home?
  • Have you been referred to CCCSDV for counseling by a lender?
