Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Delaware Valley is a 501(c)3 nonprofit community service organization founded in 1966 to educate consumers about money management, promote the wise use of credit and assist people in overcoming financial difficulties.

Over the past 43 years, CCCS's mission and activities have grown to keep pace with the changing and increasingly diverse financial needs of our clients and their communities.

CCCS has programs and services ranging from general financial interest to topics that relate to specific audiences. CCCS offers clients positive alternatives and realistic options to challenging financial issues surrounding credit, debt, housing and bankruptcy

To meet the community needs, CCCS has partnered with other local non-profit organizations, financial institutions, schools and government agencies (local, state and national) to further provide financial literacy services to individuals, families and community groups.

In 2008, CCCS provided 17,409 individual counseling sessions, either in-person, at one of its 16 community offices, or over the telephone. We provided financial education programs in the communities we serve, reaching 7,410 individuals through workshops, presentations and community events.

As of August 2009, CCCS had 82 staff employees; 40 of which are fulltime counselors at 16 local offices.

Counseling is provided in English, Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, Vietnamese, and Fujianese.
Arrangements can be made to accommodate our Hearing Impaired Clients.
